About
Lucy Fracasso
Lucy is a dual-certified speech-language pathologist and Orton-Gillingham-trained reading specialist. This means she is uniquely equipped to help you or your loved one excel in all four areas of language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
A graduate of Mount Holyoke College, Lucy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. She then earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions and her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She later returned to MGH Institute to earn her reading specialist licensure after working with many students with speech sound disorders who were struggling to obtain early literacy skills.
Lucy brings over 8 years of experience working in a variety of school settings, including the renowned Carroll School in Waltham, Massachusetts where she received training in Orton-Gillingham methodology and best practices to support students with dyslexia.
Lucy resides in Rockingham County, New Hampshire where she enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking, and exploring local sites. Her favorite part about her job is watching students gain confidence as they achieve fundamental and lifelong language skills.
